Gioia del Colle Primitivo Polvanera 17 - 2015
Red DOC - Primitivo 100%, Alc. 16.5%, Bottles produced 20,000. Purplish red color. Intense aromas of wild berries, blackberry, plum, are accompanied by notes of rose and vegetable sage, thyme, tea leaf, iron minerals and licorice. At the sip it is elegant austerity, pleasant freshness in perfect harmony with silky tannins. Very long finish with notes of coffee and cocoa. It rests 24 months in steel and ages for 12 months in the bottle.

Red DOC - Primitivo 100%, Alc. 16.5%, Bottles produced 20,000. Garnet ruby color. The nose opens with jam cherries, blackberries, plums, carob to close on notes of coffee, cocoa and pink pepper. The palate is exuberant thanks to the impressive but well integrated tannic content and the freshness in perfect balance. The persistence is long and with a pleasant mineral finish with notes of coffee. It rests in steel for 24 months.
