A great winery for a great winemaker: Lisa Gilbee who in 2000, after falling in love with these lands, decided to buy the first 16 hectares of which a part already planted with ancient 80-year-old Primitivo vines to be recovered. Given the results obtained with his Old Vines grown following strictly biological and biodynamic techniques, it seems to us that the experiment was perfectly successful.

Primitivo Old Vines 2015
Red IGT - Primitivo 100%, Alc. 15.5%, 4,000 bottles produced. Garnet red color. Intriguing floral aromas mixed with chocolate and tobacco with hints of black pepper on the nose. In the mouth it shows off aristocratic tannins with hints of citrus. Rest in French oak barrels for 15 months.
Primitivo Old Vines 2016
Red IGT - Primitivo 100%, Alc. 15.5%, 4,000 bottles produced. Bright ruby color. It opens on delicate aromas of red fruits followed by spicy notes, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper. Well structured sip, silky tannins, perfect freshness and flavor with a long and persistent finish. It rests in French oak barrels for 15 months.
