When we talk about Cirò in Calabria, we are talking about a place with a particular wine vocation. Cirò is to Calabria as Barolo is to Piedmont. The Caparra and Siciliani families since 1963 have founded their vineyards in these extraordinary lands, based mainly on the native Gaglioppo vine. Their way of describing the territory is based on traditional production methods and certified biological protocols. Through this great passion their wines give great emotions.

Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva 2016
100% Gaglioppo, Red Doc, 13.5% Alc, 42,000 bottles produced Intense and bright garnet color. The nose opens with fruity aromas of blackberries followed by vanilla, leather, rhubarb, leather. On the sip the great elegance stands out, with powerful but well integrated tannins and a long and persistent finish. It ferments and ages in steel for 12 months and then another 12 in the bottle.
